: Booker T opened SmackDown saying whatever Raw can do, SmackDown can do better. He announced Antonio Cesaro would face Randy Orton. He also announced The Rock would appear and the main event would be Big Show defending his title against Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Title.

: Big Show came out and asked Booker T why he didn’t like him as the champion? He said Alberto wasn’t in his class and the people of Miami didn’t deserve a hero. Show went to attack Booker T but Alberto ran down to make the save.

: The crowd was behind Del Rio and with Show’s great heel work; Alberto Del Rio’s face turn is complete.

Randy Orton v. United States Champion Antonio Cesaro

: Cesaro hit Orton with several forearm upper cuts to Randy until Orton pushed Antonio threw the middle rope and out to the mat. Randy, measuring Cesaro, ran and hit a devastating close line on Cesaro.

: Antonio regained momentum back in the ring and tried to wear down Orton. Cesaro hit flying upper cut to Randy but somehow Orton kicked out at two.

: Randy took the advantage and went for the RKO but The Shield out of nowhere entered the ring and attacked Orton.

: The 3MB cut a promo in the back; all three of them added themselves to the Royal Rumble. Heath Slater said his mom said they have a 10% chance to win.

: CM Punk was at Sun Life Stadium with Paul Heyman. Punk said he was a fan of The Rock during his college football days. Punk said that just like The Orange Bowl being torn down, The Rock’s glory days in sports entertainment will be torn down at the Royal Rumble.

: Alberto Del Rio was in his locker room and said he was going to win the World Heavyweight Title from Big Show for all the Latinos Big Show offended and for himself.

Dolph Ziggler & AJ Lee v. The Great Khali & Natayla

: Ziggler trying to fly and hit Khali but the big man wouldn’t go down. Dolph tagged in AJ, as Khali went to tag Natayla AJ jumped into Khali.

: Natayla tried to gain momentum but AJ bit at the knee of Natayla, then she hit a running bulldog for the victory.

: After the match Big E Langston attacked Khali, Hornswoggle went for the save but Big E hit his finisher on Hornswoggle.

: CM Punk was back at Sun Life Stadium again, he said The Rock wasn’t going to come back and give the people what they want. Paul Heyman said that The Rock’s idea of winning wasn’t going to happen, and it doesn’t matter what his vision is.

The Rock made his return to SmackDown for the first time in ten years.

: The Rock said he was sad that Punk decided to not show up tonight. The Rock said just like Ray Lewis and other famous Miami people that his success and working hard started here in Miami. He said home will be the Royal Rumble when he beats his, whatever new dumb catchphrase he came up with.

: Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes interrupted The Rock. Sandow introduced himself to The Rock along with Cody Rhodes. Cody said that The Rock didn’t deserve this time he is being allowed, and he should leave the ring before he doesn’t have a choice.

: Damien said he wanted The Rock to answer three simple questions. First who was the 19th President of the USA and The Rock answered correctly. 2nd question, which film was the Oscar for the best movie in 1993? Again The Rock answered correctly. The Rock interrupted and said he would ask the final question, then Rock Bottom to Sandow.

: Cody Rhodes than ran at The Rock, took a spinebuster then the People’s Elbow.

Sheamus v. 3MB

: 3MB tried to sneak attack Sheamus, but Heath Slater ran right into the Brogue Kick for the easy win.

Kane & Daniel Bryan v. Prime Time Players

: Darren Young throw Daniel Bryan into the corner, as he ran at him Bryan stuck his boot right into his face. Bryan tagged in Kane as Titus O’Neil tagged himself in.

: Kane worked on Titus until Young tried to help his partner, Bryan flipped into the ring over the top rope and took out both Young and Titus.

: Kane choke slammed Titus for the 1,2,3.

Big Show (c) v. Alberto Del Rio Last Man Standing Match for World Heavyweight Title

: Del Rio and Big Show exchanged blows back and forth until Show knocked Del Rio down. Big Show found a table under the ring, set it up and slammed Del Rio throw the table. Referee Mike Chioda counted but Del Rio got up at the count of 6.

: Back in the ring Alberto grabbed the chair from Show and hit him with the chair several times. Del Rio went for his arm bar but Big Show grabbed him and went to throw him over the top but Del Rio countered and applied the arm bar until Show threw him off.

: Big Show tossed Del Rio back into the ring and looked for another weapon under the ring. Show threw the chair back into the ring as Del Rio was back to his feet.

: Del Rio punched and kicked Big Show until Show feel through the table leaning in the corner and Chioda went for another count but Show was back up at 7.

: Alberto continued to work on Show but the big man wouldn’t be denied. Show caught Alberto and choke slammed him down to the mat. Del Rio managed to get up at the count of 8 much to the surprise of the Big Show.

: Del Rio rolled to the outside and leaned against the outside barricade, Big Show then ran and speared Del Rio through the barricade. Alberto, again, somehow managed to get up just before the 10 count.

: Big Show had enough, he hit the WMD and Del Rio was laid out. Ricardo helped Del Rio back to his feet. Big Show grabbed some of the stairs and get for Del Rio, Alberto moved and Big Show collided with the stairs and ring post to his head.

: Del Rio lifted the stairs and hit Big Show with the stairs three times until Big Show was down. Del Rio pushed the announcer’s booth on top of Big Show, the referee began his count and it ended with Alberto Del Rio becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion.
