Stephanie McMahon’s Top Is Very, Distracting Shall We Say

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon came out with the roster on the stage. Steph said they called the roster out there because they know how difficult it has been for them to not have a WWE Champion. Steph said that she knows that it has been disappointing to be represented by a B+ Champion. HHH said that Bryan has no heart. His refusal to be a fighting champion with no heart has been disappointing. Steph said tonight there will be a battle royal to find out who joins everyone in the Money in the Bank match. Triple H said that Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and John Cena won’t compete in the battle royal. Triple H said that he knows John Cena likes to compete, so he is going to give him a chance to compete in a match that his wife promised would happen but didn’t because of Daniel Bryan’s injury. That match was a Stretcher Match against Kane. And if Cena wins, he can be in the Money in the Bank match.

This Match Could Happen Every Week And I Wouldn’t Care

WINNER via DQ: Seth Rollins

Ambrose said it was only a matter of time before he got his hand on that ugly mug of Seth Rollins. Amborse said that he knows he doesn’t do anything without the permission of HHH, but Rollins should just save himself some time and get in the ring.

HHH appeared on screen and said he knows Ambrose likes to fight, so he’s afraid he’s got some bad news. Bad News Barrett then came out for a match with Ambrose.

Abercrombie and Ambrose

The match already started back from break. Barrett laid some boots to Ambrose in the corner then hit a swinging neckbreaker. Barrett went to a headlock but Ambrose escaped with a backbreaker. Barrett came back with a kick to the gut and more blows in the corner. But Ambrose recovered and landed multiple punches on Barrett. Amborse clotheslined Barrett over the top then hit a dive over the top. Ambrose slammed Barrett’s head into the steps before they went back into the ring. Ambrose went to the second rope but Barrett knocked him off and Ambrose landed hard on his injured shoulder on the apron.

Backstage Roman Reigns told Vickie she needs to stand up to the McMahons and tell them to shove it. She had coffees and said they would probably want sweetner with those. Reigns then appeared to put something in the coffee when Vickie left. Reigns said that she’s a Guerrero, and that means something, and she needs to stand up sooner rather than later. Vickie then sneezed on the coffees.

Bray Wyatt came out to the ring. He said you are nothing in this world without power, and power becomes very addicting. He said power will be the downfall of mankind. He said the WWE Title represents all the power that he could need. He said his brothers are looked upon a outcast. But at MITB his brothers will destroy The Usos and take every bit of power they ever had. Bray said at MITB he will change the way of the world forever. He said the Titles above the ladder signify the change that we have all been waiting for. And when he gets them, he can truly say that he has the whole world in his hands.

Sheamus came out and interrupted Bray’s singing. Sheamus said walking under a ladder is bad luck. Sheamus said they need to change that tune, to something like “How about I shove my whole boot down your throat.”

WINNER via DQ: Sheamus

Backstage HHH spilled his coffee on Vickie, but Steph drank hers.

Renne interviewed Steph, but she ran off because she was drinking that coffee. Paul Heyman then came in and ran through all the possibilities in the Money in the Bank match. He said Cesaro will win the Title at MITB, and that’s a spoiler.

Lana came out and said that all American men are week and soon we will all crumble and our American monuments will change. They then showed a picture of Mt. Rushmore with Russian leaders and Rusev. Heath said if Russia is so great then they should just move back there. Rusev then made quick work of Slater.

Backstage Steph was vomiting in the bathroom. Vickie opened the door and Steph vomited on her. HHH and Steph left and said Vickie was in charge.

Goldust’s partner this week? Stardust. Or Cody Rhodes dressed like his brother. They ended up beating Rybaxel in quick fashion.

Someone Put Zack Ryder In A Safe Place

It’s John Cena vs Kane in a Stretcher Match. Kane took the upper hand early on as both men rolled to the outside. Kane landed a coupe uppercuts. Cena pushed Kane up the ramp on the stretcher but Kane sat up and went for the chokeslam. Cena escaped and AA’d Kane onto the stretcher, then pushed him across the line to pick up the win.

WINNER: John Cena

Rollins/Ziggler and Barrett/Amborse: Sure neither of these matches ended with a clean finish, but they were two prett good matches. And obviously the non-clean finishes leave room for rematches down the line. You could even do a tag match. These two matches made the first hour of RAW fly by for me. And this is what RAW should have been like when it moved to three hours. Two solid, ten plus minute matches. And it tied together the Rollins/Ambrose story as well which was good. They did a good job building Rollins/Ambrose into a big rivalry.

Roman Reigns In the Title Match: It makes sense for Reigns to be in the match. He would have had nothing else to do on the PPV. Not only that, but it can continue the Reigns/HHH story going forward. HHH gets pissed that Reigns is in the match, then costs him the match when it looks like he has it won. Not only that but they are keeping apart Reigns and Rollins, which is smart for the time being. Makes the match bigger down the line.

Stardust: Hey, I got a good laugh out of it. And it looked like Cody was having fun doing this. Assuming it still leads to a split down the line, I’m okay with this temporary gimmick for Cody. Not only that, but the crowd was into it too. We’ll see how long it lasts but not a bad start.

Kane/Cena: These two just don’t have good chemistry together. Their matches seemed slow and plodding and it didn’t really get going. The steps spot was cool again but nothing else was that good. And I’ve been backing Cena’s in ring work for awhile now but Cena and Kane just don’t have any good matches together.

Sheamus/Bray Wyatt: Maybe it was just me but something seemed off about this match. There were some spots that didn’t look right and there were times when it looked like one of them was out of position. This gets a minor miss too because to me when the two were on, it seemed like the match didn’t get out of second gear. Both of the guys are capable of better than what happened here.

Silent Shield Split?: So on WWE.com before the show, they had Reigns and Ambrose pictured together asking what was next for The Shield. And when the show starts, they aren’t together. Not only that but they both now have separate music. I mean, we all knew this split was coming eventually. But there was just no explanation for what happened. There needs to be something to explain why each man may have decided to go their own ways.

The first hour of the show was very good. The filler stuff wasn’t as bad this week. Kevin Hart was fine in his role with Adam Rose. The Divas stuff was tough to watch this week. Cameron just isn’t good at all. Rusev needs a storyline. People are booing him and he needs a strong face to stand up to him. Despite a couple negative thoughts from me, they weren’t as bad as other things have been in the past. I’m going to give the show a 6.

Until Next Time,

Justin C
