It’s Smackdown 2003 All Over Again!

Edge and Christian came out to start the show. Edge was wearing a Sami Zayn t-shirt. Christian said tonight they will have a very special Peep Show. Edge said it should be the Cutting Edge. Edge said the Peep Show sounds like something a 1920s pervert would watch. Edge said they should do the first ever Cutting Edge Peep Show, with the first guest being Seth Rollins. Edge said tonight Seth Rollins would go one-on-one with Roman Reigns. Christian said Rusev will go one-on-one with Dolph Ziggler. Christian then asked would like to see Daniel Bryan here tonight. Harrak’s Thoughts: WWE RAW 12.22.14 (Ho Ho Hogan, Dolph Ziggler, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose)

WWE Raw Header - 2014

#1~ Well we find out in the first 5 minutes of the show this one was going to be a throwaway. Usually it’s SmackDown that’s on Christmas Day or right before so we’re not really used to seeing a fake Santa host or a Miracle on 34th Street match. That all changed when John Cena started singing “Let It Go”.

#2~ An Adam Rose heel turn was the most newsworthy moment of the night.

RAW Is Reruns

Ho Ho Hogan came out to start the show. He ran down the matches for the night before John Cena came out. He said if there is one man as iconic as Santa Claus it is Ho Ho Hogan. Cena said all he wanted for Christmas was a Frozen sing-a-long playset, until last week happened. The crowd chanted “We Want Lesnar” and Cena said he does too because he wants to kick his teeth down his throat. Cena said he changed his wish list, and he wants a match with Seth Rollins.

Does Chris Jericho Look In The Mirror While Getting Dressed?

RAW started with Chris Jericho. Jericho talked about Fandango taking his Slammy award last week. He demanded Fandango come out and give him the award. Instead, Paul Heyman came out. Heyman complained about Jericho being put in charge of RAW and said that why not put someone like him, with a spectacular record, in charge. Heyman said that he knows about Extreme and he is the father of it. Jericho said that Heyman owed him $200. Jericho picked on Heyman but Heyman said he is not a fighter he is an advocate. Heyman said he wanted to talk to Seth Rollins about his failure for not taking John Cena out of the title picture last night.

{Thanks to PhenomenonGFX for this month’s match card. – MJH}

#1~ The New Day definitely has potential, especially since they like to mix up the tag team members (although Kofi Kingston seems to be the constant). Kofi and Big E were in desperate need for a gimmick refresh and Xavier Woods just never got out of the starting block on the main roster. They all seem to like each other and seem really into the gimmick. Stardust and Goldust, on the other hand, have absolutely overstayed their welcome.
