Hello there everyone. Instead of giving my thoughts on Wrestlemania and then RAW, I will combine both of them into one column and go from there. I won’t be doing a regular live RAW report every Monday now. Instead, I will do some kind of quick recap/thoughts column every night or the net day, schedule permitting.

NEW YORK AND STAMFORD, CONN., March 25, 2015 – WWE (NYSE: WWE) and Authentic Brands Group, LLC (ABG) today announced a joint venture for Tapout™, a newly repositioned fitness lifestyle brand. Tapout™ is now the official fitness and training partner of WWE, and will be integrated across WWE’s global platforms including TV programming, WWE Network, pay-per-view broadcasts, live events, digital, and social media.
For those of you that have been living under a rock the last 24 hours, Brock Lesnar has signed a new deal with the WWE. It’s reported to be a multi-year deal in the 3 year range. I’m sure there is some extra money tossed into the deal for Brock. The WWE was competing with UFC, and UFC was said to make a strong last second push for Lesnar’s services. But in the end, Brock chose to stay with the WWE where he can work a very light schedule and won’t have to worry about an intense physical training schedule and matches with the UFC.
At least the WWE is trying by having Sting open the show. Although whoever tuned in specifically to see what Sting had to say probably isn’t watching any longer. All of the months of speculation about why Sting was finally coming to the WWE and why he targeted Triple H was up in the air & Sting just let it stay there. And it floated out of the collective consciousness of WWE fans as they all just ceased to care. I really hope the first segment isn’t the last we see of Sting or Triple H because that was NOT WrestleMania hype.
We’re Live On Nitro! Oh Wait…
Sting came out to start the show. He said this is what it feels like to kick off RAW. He said HHH has done whatever he has had to do to get to the top. HHH thinks he is unstoppable. But Sting isn’t here to fight for WCW. He’s here to take Triple H down. Stephanie McMahon came out. She said so this is what it feels like to be in the ring with the Stinger. She said now he knows what it feels like to make the big time. Sting said she is still the same spoiled brat who has had everything handed to her and thinks she earned it. She said Sting isn’t the big dog like he is in WCW. She said she is the daughter of the man who ended his career when he bought WCW. She sad WCW lost. And Sting is going to lose any respect the fans still have for him when her husband pins him in the middle of the ring. She called Sting a face painted freak.
STAMFORD, CT., March 23, 2015 – WWE today announced that Skylar Grey, Kid Ink and Travis Barker, will take the stage at WrestleMania 31, on Sunday, March 29 at 7 pm ET/ 4 pm PT, from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.
