-I actually got a laugh out of that opening segment. The only thing that would have made it better would have been The Authority paying Price Is Right games to win the prizes. Mercury and Noble’s reactions to the car were great. It was another Authority opening, but it was at least different and good for a couple laughs.
-That Cesaro/Cena match made up for a long first hour of RAW. If you really want to extend Cena/Owens until SummerSlam, I think adding Cesaro to the US Title Match at Battleground makes a lot of sense. Those three have had great singles matches with each other. I have no doubt all three could have a tremendous triple threat match together.
-Bo Dallas needs to make more appearances with the New Day.
-What the hell has this Rusev/Lana/Dolph Ziggler/Summer Rae storyline turned into? I mean I didn’t like it from the start and it just gets odder every week. This has Vince McMahon’s fingerprints all over it. And that is obviously not a good thing. Vince’s personal feelings shouldn’t dictate a storyline.
-The WWE has done a good job of making Neville look competitive in all of his matches. But sooner or later, he needs an actual storyline to work with so he can connect more with the audience. How is it so damn hard for the WWE to do both things at the same time?
-So first there are tags during a No DQ Tag match. Then there are refs out there trying to get Bray Wyatt away during a No DQ Match. Why? Then the post match beatdown went on for way too long and just seemed like it was happening to stretch out time. It was an odd ending to RAW. Sure there was some good wrestling, but storyline wise nothing really moved forward this week.
