-Man, that opening Authority segment only lasted 10 minutes but it felt like it was 30. Was that really necessary? It was dragged out and the people in the truck screwed up the video cues a couple of times. It seemed like a “Hey don’t forget about the Authority!” type of segment.
-I’m sorry, but I still do not buy this whole “New Face of Fear” stuff with Bray Wyatt. It’s stupid. He lost to The Undertaker at Wrestlemania and has barely been a main focal point on TV since. This program with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns has lost a lot of luster. I wish it was made a No DQ match to add a little excitement to it. The Harper/Reigns match was very slow and at least weapons would hide that.
-That was a good segment wit Rusev, Summer Rae, Dolph Ziggler and Lana. Everybody played their parts well. The pop Ziggler received was strong. Lana also looked good in the ring.
-While I enjoy John Cena when he gets into serious mode with his promos, it also takes him way too long to get to the point and he starts to ramble on and on. If that promo was 2 minutes shorter it would have been much more to the point. I still think we are getting some kind of schmozz finish this Sunday or a Sheamus cash in.
-The fans chanting for Lesnar and JBL will be the same fans complaining when the NXT women lose their push in a few months. Seriously, you people that due this aren’t smart or cool at all. And the match wasn’t bad. Sasha Banks is great for only being 23 years old. She’s the future and you are trying to screw it up.
-Still not completely feeling the Undertaker/Lesnar match at SummerSlam. I mean Heyman can only do so much for it. And while I loved his singing on RAW, the whole segment overall still fell kind of flat for me. At least they tried to establish Taker as the heel in the match. I want to see Brock go over, and this segment made me think that is going to happen.
