Emma vs. Shazza

-Shazza looks like a coked out Mickie James with that dumb jumping around she does, if we’re being honest. And it doesn’t help that this was about as disjointed as a squash is supposed to be.

JC’s Top Rope Report: After RAW Thoughts For 10.26.15

-The treating of Becky Lynch on the main roster has been absolutely criminal. They haven’t let her have any showcase matches as a singles wrestler. She is always the sidekick to either Paige or Charlotte. And now it looks like she will be the third wheel in a feud between Charlotte and Paige. What does this woman have to do to standout? Just one of the many problems the Divas Revolution has going for it.

Alberto del Rio defeats John Cena to Win the United States Championship

-Wow, that was surprising. I knew there were rumors that the WWE wanted Alberto del Rio back, but I didn’t think it would happen this quickly. As a fan of Lucha Underground I really don’t like it. Obviously I want Del Rio on LU. But I hope he finds success again in the WWE. The match itself was average. It didn’t really get into a second or third gear like most of Cena’s matches have recently. And I’m surprised they didn’t go with any type of follow up/injury angle to Cena. Zeb with Del Rio will be interesting.

Join HTC Wrestling For Movember 2015

shave the date

This past year, I’ve been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, lost my job of 9 years and am waging my own war against severe depression & anxiety. I’ve been quietly struggling with my own mental health for a few years and have come to develop a much deeper appreciation for organizations such as Movember. To learn that fibromyalgia & depression are so deeply linked helped me come to terms with the fact that my mental health is just as important as my physical well-being, if not more so.

-They really put all of the top guns out there for the first hour on RAW. Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, Steve Austin, New Day, John Cena, Sasha Banks and Shawn Michaels. I’m surprised they didn’t try to break that up at all. Maybe the WWE has no idea what the Star Wars trailer is. I would have assumed they would space it out more.

JC’s Top Rope Report: Just How Bad Is The WWE Right Now?

JC Top Rope Logo 2

If you are a fan of the WWE like I am, you know this tends to be the down period for the product. The big SummerSlam push has come and gone, and it is still too early to start any kind of build for Wrestlemania. It is often a lull period for the company. If the WWE was ever going to take a break, this would be the time period to do it. The NFL is in full swing, the NHL and NBA are back, and the MLB Playoffs are going on. Combine all that with the WWE’s track record during the fall and it is a recipe for disaster.

-First off yes, we did record a podcast last week. The problem is the file became corrupted and we were unable to upload it. We will be back next week. But the WWE has now stolen two ideas we came up with last week. The first being the start of a potential John Cena/Dolph Ziggler feud, and the second being a Randy Orton/Dean Ambrose feud. Listen WWE, if you want to hire Matt and I as creative team members, all you have to do is ask.
