JC’s Top Rope Report: Wrestlemania 32 Predictions, The Final Take

JC Top Rope Logo 2

It’s the final take for me. I normally try to do three different sets of Wrestlemania predictions every year, and it is time for my final stab at it. With the Holiday season upon us, we are very quickly getting to the Road to Wrestlemania. The last set of predictions I did were back in September, and A LOT has changed with the WWE since then. First, lets go back to my predictions from April:

JC’s Top Rope Report: Random RAW Thoughts For 12.28.15

-You can criticize his booking decisions all you want. But Vince McMahon the on-screen character is still great to this day. He knows exactly the right way to make things entertaining. For me, he did just enough to make the opening decent. Stephanie McMahon always has to find a way to get herself over and make her adversary look weak. Vince has no problem making himself look awful, and he often does it the right way.

JC’s Top Rope Report: Random RAW Thoughts For 12.21.15

-Stephanie McMahon made that opening segment awful. Who would have ever thought that Roman Reigns would be the best part of a segment? Her punishments made absolutely no sense. Do you think Dean Ambrose cares if he faces Sheamus inside a steel cage? The guy is suppose to be a lunatic! She didn’t even punish Roman, which made zero sense. Bad way to start RAW after a good finish last week.

JCs Top Rope Report: Random RAW Thoughts For 12.14.15

-Well, if you want to start building Kevin Owens up for a big match, that was a good way to start. I don’t know if Owens is facing Lesnar or not, but that was a strong start. Owens needs to look like an unstoppable force going into that match. He can even lose in a triple threat match for the IC Title and not take the fall. Owens can be built up rather easily for Lesnar, and they need to continue with what they did tonight.

WWE TLC Live Results

TLC - WWE World Heavyweight Champion

Sasha Banks Defeats Becky Lynch

-They tried turning Team B.A.D. into New Day before the match, and well it didn’t work. The match was okay, nothing like their NXT matches. But it wasn’t a bad match for the kickoff show. Kind of surprised to see Sasha pick up the win, especially because I assumed Becky was going to be in line for a Divas Title shot next. Maybe they are going to start the build up for Sasha going into Wrestlemania now?

WWE NXT Review For 12.9.15 (w/JSP)

NXT Logo - 2012

Enzo & Cass vs. Hollis & Skylar

-I like the serious demeanor of Enzo and Cass. It at least somewhat freshens them up for people tired of their act – of which I am not, but I understand it for those who are – and it gives them some character development for once.

-Enzo MURDERS Corey Hollis with a running crossbody in one of the nastiest spots I’ve seen in a hot minute. For such a small guy, he laid that crossbody in like he was Stan Hansen or something.

-Man, look at all of these factions in the WWE right now. It would have been great to have seen this leading up to Survivor Series. No? Is that too much to ask? I know Seth Rollins getting hurt turned things upside down for the WWE, but seeing all of this two months after Survivor Series is just really annoying.

JC’s Top Rope Report: Could Kevin Owens Be The Next Big WWE Star?

Kevin Owens - Fight Owens Fight Wallpaper

This past Monday on RAW, we saw the forming of a new stable known as the League of Nations. The group consists of Sheamus, Alberto del Rio, King Barrett and Rusev. All men are foreigners in the WWE, so it makes sense on some level. Rivaling them seems to be a group of faces that have formed a loose connection with one another in Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and The Usos. Then of course, there is the New Day. Oh, and we can’t forget about the Wyatt Family. And if you want to go into the Divas Division, we have Team B.A.D, Bella and CB. It seems like stables are the new flavor of the month in the WWE.
