Hell In A Cell Match For The United States Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs Rusev
-Every time I see Lana I think she gets hotter and hotter. How is that possible?
-After some slow in ring action, Rusev goes into the Cell first after Reigns pushes him off the apron.
-Reigns tosses Rusev into the steps. Reigns goes for a table but Rusev pushes Reigns into the Cell.
-Reigns goes for a Drive By on the outside but Rusev moves and hits him with a weak punch.
-Rusev grabs the stairs and hits Reigns with them.
-So far this match is very slow and has not needed the Hell In A Cell stipulation.
-Rusev grabs a kendo stick from under the ring, but Reigns catches him with a dropkick. Reigns uses the kendo stick on Rusev.
-Rusev low blows Reigns by kicking the ropes into his crotch. Reigns then gets tied in the ropes and Rusev hits Reigns with the kendo stick, right in his chest protector.
-My PS3 froze. When it came back Rusev had Reigns in the Accolade but Reigns powered out.
-Rusev grabs a chain from under the ring and whips Reigns with it. Again right in the chest protector.
-Rusev gets the steps and applies the Accolade on the steps, which obviously means double the pain. But he also has a chain.
-Reigns escapes and drops Rusev on the steps with a Samoan Drop. Reigns then catches Rusev with a Spear for the win.
WINNER and STILL United States Champion: Roman Reigns- Not a good match. And it absolutely didn’t need the Cell. It could have just been a No DQ match. The match was slow and plodding. These two don’t have good chemistry with each other. And both need to move on to something else.
Bayley vs Dana Brooke
-Well we know one thing, at least this won’t be worse than their arm wrestling segment from Monday.
-Dana gains the upper hand by dropping Bayley on the turnbuckle on her shoulder.
-It might just be me but Dana looks lost in the ring at times.
-Bayley starts her comeback then hits the Bayley-to-Belly for the win.
WINNER: Bayley- Short match. Dana dominated, Bayley started her comeback, then it was over. Nothing much here. At least Bayley won.
Big Cass and Enzo Amore vs The Club
-Gallows takes out Enzo on the outside with a clothesline.
-The heels dominate Enzo until Enzo jumps off the rope and hits Anderson with a DDT. It looked more like a spinebuster by Anderson.
-Big Cass gets the hot tag and goes to work.
-Big Cass misses a boot and lands on the rope. But Enzo tags himself in and hits a crossbody.
-Gallows catches Enzo with a superkick then the Club hits the Magic Killer for the win.
WINNERS: The Club- Wow, the Club actually won a match??? No heat to the match at all and it felt mostly like filler.
Hell In A Cell Match For the WWE Universal Championship: Kevin Owens (c) vs Seth Rollins
-Owens goes right to the outside for a table but Rollins catches him with a dropkick.
-Owens goes after the bad back of Rollins and throws him hard into the corner then hits a senton on the back.
-Rollins tries to get some kicks in but Owens tosses him outside through the ropes into the Cell.
-Owens continues to dominate until Rollins escapes a pop-up powerbomb. Both men exchange kicks then Owens catches Rollins with a clothesline.

-With the door open, Jericho runs down then locks himself in the Cell with Owens and Rollins.
-Rollins quickly puts Jericho into the wall of the Cell.
-Rollins hits the flying knee on Owens. He goes for a Pedigree but catches Jericho from the top and hits one on him.

-Rollins kicked out of a pop up powerbomb.
-Chairs get introduced. Owens uses it first then Jericho. Rollins kicks out the leg of Owens and uses it, but Owens drops Rollins with a DDT onto the chair.
-Jericho sets up to chairs together. Owens powerbombs Rollins through them for the win.
WINNER and STILL WWE Universal Champion: Kevin Owens- Finally a match that was good. Getting Jericho into the match with that fire extinguisher spot was brilliant. Seth Rollins actually played the babyface in peril rather well. The table spot looked nice. It’s a match where I was okay with the interference because it will play into the story of Jericho and Owens later down the line.
WWE Cruiserweight Championship: T.J. Perkins (c) vs Brian Kendrick
-Early near fall sequences from both men as Kendrick gives Perkins a look asking him why he isn’t laying down.
-Kendrick tries to slow the match down and works on the arms of Perkins.
-I can’t tell the difference between this and a WWE TV match. That isn’t suppose to happen with the Cruiserweight division.
-Kendrick catches Perkins with a dropkick while Perkins came off the top.
-Kendrick applies the Captain’s Hook but Perkins reverses into a pin for two.
-Perkins escapes Sliced Bread #2 and Kendrick sells his leg. Perkins checks on him but Kendrick lands a headbutt and the Captain’s Hook. Perkins taps.
WINNER and NEW WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Brian Kendrick- They really need to do something to distinguish the cruiserweights. I know they were in a tough spot there, but the match was way too watered down. Kendrick winning at least adds a new story to the division.
WWE Tag Team Championship: New Day (c) vs Cesaro and Sheamus
-Cesaro and Sheamus dominate Woods for the first few minutes until Big E gets the hot tag.
-Woods swantons to the outside to take out Cesaro. Big E catches Sheamus going for the Brouge Kick and hits a powerbomb for two.
-Sheamus catches Woods going for a crossbody. He hits White Noise and the rolling senton. Cesaro hits a double stomp for two.
-Cesaro applies the Sharpshooter. Big E breaks it up and belly-to-belly’s Cesaro into the corner. Sheamus stops the Midnight Hour but then accidentally Brogue Kicks Cesaro. Woods covers but gets two.
-Sheamus jumps from the top to the outside and takes out all three New Day members.
-Back in the ring, Cesaro applies the Sharpshooter on Woods. Sheamus takes out Big E with the trombone. Kofi takes out Sheamus with Trouble in Paradise. The ref sees this and calls for a DQ right before Kofi taps.
WINNERS via DQ: Cesaro and Sheamus- Solid Dusty finish there. The match picked up in the final few minutes but just like everything else tonight, it started off really slow.
Hell In A Cell Match For the Women’s Championship: Sasha Banks (c) vs Charlotte
-Both women get special entrances. Charlotte is carried to the ring on a throne. Sasha does her NXT Brooklyn entrance again.
-As the Cell is lowered, Charlotte attacks Sasha. They go to the outside and Sasha tosses Charlotte into the crowd. They brawl through the crowd a bit.
-Both women crawl up the Cell. Sasha kicks Charlotte off. As Sasha slides down, Charlotte grabs her and powerbombs her through the table.
-EMTs come out for Charlotte and load her up on the backboard. Just as they are about to announce a forfeit, Sasha gets up and demands the match starts.
-Charlotte monkey flips Sasha into the Cell.
-Sasha goes for the Banks Statement, but Charlotte reverses it and picks up Sasha and drops her to the floor.
-Charlotte goes for a chair, but Sasha baseball slides Charlotte twice into the Cell then hits a crossbody through the ropes into the Cell.
-A chair is set up in the ring. Sasha smashes Charlotte’s face into it a couple times. But Charlotte eventually stops Sasha and backdrops her on the chair.
-Charlotte tosses Sasha into the air but she grabs the cage, then jumps off the wall and hits the double knees on Charlotte.
-Sasha sets up Charlotte in the corner, with a chair underneath her, then hits the double knees onto Charlotte.
-Charlotte slams Sasha’s head on the steps.
-They tried to set up a double knee spot through a table, but it looked like Charlotte slipped on the ring skirt on a Sasha kick and fell on the table. It didn’t break.
-Sasha brings another table in the ring. But Charlotte pushes it into Sasha and into the Cell.
-Charlotte applies the Figure Eight, but Sasha grabs the chair and hits Charlotte with it to break the hold.
-They move the table around a bit. It gets set up in the corner. Sasha goes for a powerbomb but her back gives out. Charlotte tosses Sasha onto the table a couple times then hits Natural Selection for the win.
WINNER and NEW RAW Women’s Champion: Charlotte- First with the good- I think the match lived up to expectations. The start was different. And there was more “brutality” in that match then the first two Cell matches combined. It was a very good match. But the ending fell completely flat. They built up babyface sympathy for Sasha all night and then they have her lose. Not only that, but the finish was weak sauce.
OVERALL: Thumbs down show. The Women’s and Universal Cell matches were good for different reasons. But everything else felt like filler. Everything else made it felt like a RAW, not a PPV. The Cruiserweights are essentially on life support at the moment. The tag team scene isn’t interesting. And poor Rusev is stuck in mid-card purgatory. Not a good show overall.
