The Return of John Cena

-Cena is met with his normal “John Cena Sucks” chants.

-The crowd starts an “Undertaker” chant at Cena as he asks what is next in his career.

-Cena says he is sick of the “New Era” crap and this is still his era. He is challenging the winner of the main event to a Title match at the Royal Rumble. And if the fans don’t like it? Tough, because he just did it!

Fatal 4 Way For the Smackdown Live Tag Team Titles: The Wyatt Family (c) vs American Alpha vs The Usos vs Heath Slater and Rhyno

-It is Orton and Luke Harper wrestling for the Wyatts.

-Gable hits a nice northern lights suplex on Rhyno.

-Orton and Harper left the apron to avoid getting tags. Hey that is smart!

-Slater comes in like a ball of fire. He jumps off the top but slips, and doesn’t reach the Usos superkick. They regroup and Slater eats the kick and the former Champs are eliminated.

***Rhyno and Heath Slater Eliminated***

-Both Usos go to the top, but Jordan and Gable catch them and hit tandem belly-to-belly suplexes.

-Gable reverses Uso and pins him to eliminate the Usos.

***The Usos Eliminated***

-Orton and Jordan exchange offense.

-Gable gets the hot tag and goes to work. But Orton catches him from the apron with a clothesline, then Harper hits a hard one of his own.

-Orton drops Gable a couple of times on the barricade.

-Gable finally knocks out Harper and makes the hot tag to Jordan, who hits a nice overhead belly-to-belly on Orton.

-Harper and Jordan brawl on the outside. Gable takes out Harper with a running cannonball off the apron then Jordan takes out Bray Wyatt. But Jordan walks right back into the middle rope DDT.

-Orton goes for a superplex on Gable. Harper tries to help, but accidentally knocks Orton off the ropes and into him. Gable hits a crossbody then Jordan a running spear in the corner. They connect on their finisher and we have NEW CHAMPS.

WINNER and NEW Smackdown Tag Team Champions: American Alpha- Good match. I really want AA and the Wyatts to get a full 20 minutes at the Rumble. Great pop for AA winning. Can we get the Revival up now? Tension begins to mount between Orton and Harper.

-Carmella stops not Melissa Santos interviewer from interviewing James Ellsworth. Carmella says she finds hum uniquely attractive. Look at Ellsworth getting that hot tail.

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss (c) vs Becky Lynch

-The first few minutes has some basic mat wrestling and pinfall exchanges from both women.

-Alexa avoids a baseball slide on the outside. Alexa slams Becky’s face into the ground then pushes her into the post.

-Back from break Becky starts her comeback.

-Becky hits the PENTAGON JR ARMBREAKER! Why didn’t Alexa’s arm break???

-Music hits and someone comes out dressed as La Luchadora.

-Alexa goes for Twisted Bliss but Becky gets her knees up.

-Alexa sells that her arm is broken and legit does. She must be double jointed because it looks bad. La Luchadora then slams Becky into the post, and this gives Alexa the chance to pick up the win.

WINNER and STILL Smackdown Women’s Champion: Alexa Bliss- If Alexa’s arm was really broken I hope she is okay. That looked really bad and kind of disgusting. Match was kind of clunky and didn’t have a flow to it.

-Renee interviews the Miz. Dean Ambrose shows up behind him and takes out the Miz and his security. Dean takes a walkie talkie and says “All clear.”

WWE Championship: AJ Styles (c) vs Dolph Ziggler vs Baron Corbin

-Corbin starts by taking out Styles and Ziggler and tossing them to the outside.

-Back from break Corbin tosses Ziggler into the barricade then slams Styles into the ring apron.

-Ziggler and Styles exchange punches, but Corbin comes right back with a hard double clothesline.

-Corbin is back in control as he has been most of the match. Really slow pace to start the show.

-Styles moves out of the way of Corbin and Corbin runs into the barricade. They put Corbin on the announce table. Styles and Ziggler then double dive onto Corbin and he goes through the announce table.

-Ziggler Rock Bottoms Dolph onto the apron then hits a DDT in the ring for two.

-Styles goes for a Phenomenal Forearm but Ziggler kicks him off, then connects on a superkick for two. It looked like Corbin was suppose to break it up but was late getting there.

-Corbin hits the End of Days on Styles while Ziggler jumps up and hits the ZigZag in one fluid motion. Nice spot.

-Corbin hits the End of Days on Ziggler, then Styles comes in and hits a Phenomenal Forearm on Corbin. Styles pins Ziggler for the win.

-After the match, John Cena came out to shake the hand of Styles.

WINNER and STILL WWE Champion AJ Styles- Very good match that I think was a standout moment for Corbin. He didn’t look out of place at all during the match and was given a chance to showcase his skills in the early going. Styles/Cena will obviously be good at the Rumble, though I’m nervous about where this leaves Styles at Mania.

Until Next Time,
