Tajiri v. Sean Maluta
Tajiri was a tremendous talent during his WWE tenure. In 2017 he compliments the Cruiserweight roster just as nicely as Brian Kendick does. I would love to see Tajiri wrestle for the Cruiserweight Championship to help the newly established title gain some momentum.
Jack Gallagher v. Tony Nese
Both Gallagher and Nese are near the top of the Cruiserweight division. Both guys possess their own individual characteristics that not only make them great talents but polar opposites.
Daivari does his best to be the bad guy and ruin a completely great match between Nese and Gallagher.
WINNER via DQ: Jack Gallagher
Noam Dar v. Mustafa Ali
Dar has always and continues to remind me of a ‘cocky, jerk’ Finn Balor which could make him a huge success in the WWE. Dar possess a wide ranging arsenal that was put to the test against Ali; great match.
WINNER: Mustafa Ali
Neville v. TJ Perkins
Adding Neville to the Cruiserweight division was a stroke of genius. His character wasn’t used very often and had gone stale. Tough guy Neville is beyond awesome and gives the top babyfaces like Rich Swann, Perkins and Cedric Alexander some great competition. Neville should and probably will be the Cruiserweight champion soon and it will be oh so sweet when Alexander finally wins the gold from him down the line.
