AJ Styles Opening Promo
-After confronting Daniel Bryan about last week’s situation, Styles said he is going to the ring to speak his mind.
-Styles said Bryan and Shane are making him jump through hoops to get what he wants, when they rolled out the red carpet for Cena.
-Styles runs down everything that happened over the last few weeks. He said Orton didn’t get arrested for burning down Bray’s shack. Instead he was rewarded with the main event of Wrestlemania. AJ knows!
-Styles said he plans on having a conversation with Shane McMahon later tonight about his career and Wrestlemania.
Becky Lynch vs Natalya
-Becky backs Natalya into the corner. Natty asks for time, Becky backs off. Natalya asks for a handshake, but Becky slaps her instead.
-Back from break, Becky misses a clothesline on the outside and Natalya body slams her.
-Becky escapes a Natalya submission and goes right to work. Becky ends up on the turnbuckle, but counters into a Dis-armer. Natalya taps.
-After the match Carmella comes out and attacks both women.
WINNER: Becky Lynch
MizTV w/John Cena
-Didn’t we just have this two weeks ago?
-Miz said him and Maryse are finally giving everyone the tips that Cena and Nikki Bella are frauds.
-Maryse said Nikki Bella will never get what she has, and shows her engagement ring off. Oh come on, this makes Cena proposing really obvious.
-Maryse says Nikki Bella took away a contract from Maryse and didn’t allow Maryse to appear on the first season of Total Divas. Maryse said she will expose Nikki Bella as a lying backstabbing bitch.
-Cena and Nikki Bella charge the ring. Miz and Maryse scatter.
-Nikki says Maryse and her were never friends. Nikki says Maryse steals the fan’s money every night by standing there like a mindless blow-up doll.
-Nikki says Maryse should get in the ring so she can kick Maryse’s ass.
-Miz and Maryse say no thanks and that they can’t make matches. Daniel Bryan comes out. Bryan said Miz didn’t deliver on a must-see episode of MizTV, and he really wants to punch Miz in the face.
-Bryan makes Miz/Maryse vs John Cena/Nikki Bella at Wrestlemania. Hooray.
Mickie James vs Alexa Bliss
-Alexa catches Mickie going for a baseball slide early on. So Alexa slams Mickie’s head into the post and then drops her on the ground.
-Back from break Mickie applies a half crab then a sitdown dropkick.
-Alexa grabs Mickie by the throat then slams her down to the mat.
-Mickie hits a hurricarrana then a kick to the gut. But Alexa jumps to avoid Mickie in the corner.
-Both women exchange pinfalls. Alexa catches Mickie with a hard right hand. Alexa misses a standing moonsault, then Mickie hits the Mick Kick for the win.
WINNER: Mickie James
-AJ Styles attacks Shane McMahon backstage as he arrives. AJ throws Shane through a car window and Shane is busted open. Serves Shane right for showing up late to his own show.
-Daniel Bryan finds AJ and apparently fires him.
Mojo Rawley vs Dolph Ziggler
-Mojo tosses Dolph over the ropes twice, showing he knows how to win a Battle Royal.
-Mojo does it one more time, and Dolph decides not to get back in the ring.
WINNER via Countout: Mojo Rawley
Randy Orton Promo
-Orton says he devised a plan to get close to Bray and earned his trust. And the longer he stood by Bray’s side the longer the venom in his veins ran deeper and deeper.
-“If you can’t beat them, join them. And when the time is right, SCREW THEM!”
-Orton said Bray Wyatt is afraid of being alone. And now Bray Wyatt is alone. But the job is not yet over.
-Bray cuts in. Bray said Sister Abigail’s heart still beats in the black hearts of all who listen.
-Bray says in her ashes, he baptizes himself. Bray then rubs dirt all over himself.
American Alpha vs The Usos
-American Alpha dropkics The Usos off the apron.
-We see Shane being helped in the back still selling the beatdown from earlier.
-Jason Jordan gets pushed off the apron onto the floor.
-The Usos take turns beating down Jason Jordan.
-Chad Gable gets the hot tag and goes to work. But the Usos knock Gable off the turnbuckle then superkick Jordan to get the win.
WINNERS: The Usos
-Shane McMahon walks to the ramp. He says AJ Styles didn’t have an opponent for Wrestlemania, but he does now. And they immediately cut off before the crowd reaction.
OVERALL: Similar to RAW, Smackdown did a bad job of making this seem like a Wrestlemania worthy show. Maybe it was the finalization of the mixed tag and AJ/Shane that did it. I don’t know if there is a bigger waste of talent then AJ Styles wrestling Shane McMahon. The Orton/Bray segment was weird. I don’t know if the WWE thought putting the Usos/AA on at the end would mean something, because it didn’t. Not a great night for Smackdown.
