Quick Hits: WWE Great Balls of Fire 7.9.17
Goodness Gracious I wonder how many people are using that to tell a lame joke about this PPV. I missed most of the show but got entertaining commentary throughout and watched a man commit attempted murder so I’m not sure I could have handled anything else. Let’s take a look at results and important moments:
BRAY WYATT WINS A MATCH! At the expense of the wonderful Seth Rollins, though I suspect it will turn out okay for Rollins in the end.
Bo Dallas is responsible for The Miz getting another win over the Lunatic Dean Ambrose who should probably move on from this feud. I like Dean and I want him to be a big part of big feuds – I even love him wrestling Miz! But it’s gone on a long time between Raw and Smackdown. Great to see Bo doing something productive though!
Sasha Banks, angry over Alexa Bliss’s intentional count out loss went full boss and attacked Alexa after the bell. The attacked ended after Sasha delivered her double knees from the announce table. Get it girl.
Following Roman Reigns loss to BRAUN in their ambulance match, Roman goes full killer and spears out of the ambulance before putting BRAUN in it, driving it backstage and backing it up into a semi completely destroying the ambulance. It takes a concerned Jamie Noble and some emergency services folks with the jaws of life to remove BRAUN from the ambulance. Roman fleed the scene immediately following the attack. When BRAUN is finally free he refuses to get on the gurney. He is pretty bloody and seemed to have made a make shift bandage for his arm while near death inside the ambulance. He stumbles away and tells everyone to leave him alone. IT’S KIND OF SAD. Roman is terrible.
Heath Slater and Curt Hawkins is a quick make shift match that isn’t really seen because they’re showing BRAUN’s escape from the ambulance in the back.
Samoa Joe gets a jump on Brock before the bell rings and actually puts him through an announce table. The match is mostly Joe outside suplexes from Brock but while Joe has the Coquina Clutch locked in Brock gets him into an f5 for the win.
Also, according to reports to me, Booker T officially hit grandpa status tonight as apparently nothing he had to say made sense. Poor Booker.
Here are the official results!

Enzo Amore vs Big Cass: Cass wins
Seth Rollins vs Bray Wyatt: Bray Wyatt wins (???)
