Quick Hits: New Japan Pro Wrestling G1 Climax Night 7

 

A Block Match: Yoshi-Hashi vs Tomohiro Ishii

-The chop house gets opened up early between both men. Ishii eventually takes Hashi down with a shoulder tackle.

-Hashi gets Ishii’s head down and gives him little kicks to the head, which does nothing but anger Ishii so he backs Hashi into the corner with some stiff forearms.

-Ishii hits a superplex then a snap German for two. Hashi comes back with a spinning kick to the chest.

-Ishii eats two superkicks but comes right back with a clothesline and a powerbomb. Only gets two though.

-Sliding lariat from Ishii after that crazy mother fucker delivers some headbutts. He then hits a spike brainbuster for the win.

WINNER: Tomohiro Ishii

A Block Match: Bad Luck Fale vs Zack Sabre Jr.

-I still can’t believe that coward Fale hasn’t been reprimanded for his actions to Daryl Takahashi.

-Fale throws down the ring announcer on his way in because he is an awful human being.

-The match starts and Fale throws ZSJ into the railing on the outside.

-Fale misses a splash and ZSJ hits a Penalty Kick. ZSJ gets Fale into a standing butterfly submission and transitions into a sleeper.

-Fale breaks it up and then splashes ZSJ. Fale goes for the Bad Luck Fall but ZSJ escapes and applies a double ankle lock but Fale gets to the ropes.

-ZSJ applies a standing armbar that Fale tries powering out of with a powerbomb. But ZSJ counters into a roll up pin to the get the three count.

WINNER: Zack Sabre Jr.

A Block Match: Kota Ibushi vs Togi Makabe

-Ibushi sends Makabe to the outside early then hits a slingshot crossbody over the top.

-Makabe gets control on the outside by throwing Ibushi into the railing a couple times.. Ibushi just beats the count in both times.

-Ibushi catches Makabe with a dropkick then a springboard dropkick.

-Makabe reverses Ibushi into the corner and hits a clothesline and follows it up with another.

-They exchange clotheslines. Makabe delivers a couple of middle fingers but Ibushi bounces back with a clothesline.

-Ibushi catches Makabe with a top rope frankensteiner.

-More clotheslines. Makabe hits won on Ibushi and he almost lands directly on his neck.

-That crazy fucker Ibushi tries hitting a top rope piledriver. Makabe knocks him off and hits a knee. He follows it up with a powerbomb and King Kong Knee drop for the win.

WINNER: Togi Makabe

A Block Match: Tetsuya Naito vs Yuji Nagata

-Naito dropkicks Nagata and Nagata regroups as Naito taunts him with his trademark pose.

-Nagata hits a running knee then an exploder suplex.

-Naito hits his catapult dropkick and follows it up with a tilt-a-whirl DDT.

-Naito messes around with Nagata and spits in his face. This of course pisses Nagata off and he kicks the fuck out of Naito.

-Naito nails a couple of German suplexes.

-Now these crazy fuckers decide to slap the piss out of each other. Naito goes for Destino but Nagata counters into the armbar. Naito gets to the ropes.

-Naito hits Destino after a suplex counter for two. Naito hits another for the win. Nagata my be the MVP of this damn tournament so far and he hasn’t won a match.

WINNER: Tetsuya Naito

A Block Match: Hirooki Goto vs Hiroshi Tanahashi

-Tanahashi goes to the top but Goto knocks him right off to the floor.

-Back in the ring Goto starts working over the bad arm of Tanahashi.

-Goto goes for a kick but Tanahashi blocks it and nails a dragon screw leg whip.

-Both men exchange clotheslines and suplexes. Goto took a stiff shot to the face and looks like he is trying to pull out a tooth.

-Tanahashi hits right hand after right hand then a neckbreaker. But he misses the splash off the top.

-Gotot hits a headbutt and goes for his finisher but Tanahashi counters to a spinning neckbreaker.

-Tanahashi connects on a Slingblade then the high flying crossbody then the High Fly Flow for the win.

WINNER: Hiroshi Tanahashi
