The HTCWrestling Staff Answers: What Are You Most Looking Forward To This Weekend?
With so much going on this weekend, the HTCWrestling staff answers what they are looking forward to the most in the world of pro wrestling in the next few days!
The Chairman: The biggest thing I’m looking to for Wrestlemania weekend has nothing to do with Wrestlemania, let alone WWE. The biggest story in wrestling in my opinion is what’s going on with Bullet Club and at Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor, Cody and Kenny Omega face off one on one. This is a rivalry that has been brewing for months and we finally get to see this match and how it shapes the future of Bullet Club.
Cam: The Wrestlemania card itself is something to look forward to. NXT going head to head with Ring of Honor’s stellar card is something everyone should be excited about. I’m looking forward to the ramblings about Brock Lesnar’s WWE status. I have said over and over again this decision is possibly the biggest one the WWE needs to make.
Justin C: I’m most looking forward to Johnny Gargano vs Tommaso Ciampa. This match has been building for almost a full year and I expect the energy in the arena for this match to be electric. Ciampa is one of the best heels in the business right now and the crowd is dying for Gargano to kick his ass. The emotion in this match alone will make it one of the better matches in recent WWE history. I have a feeling by the end of this match, Johnny Gargano will have wrestled two five star matches in just over two months.
Heather: Cody Rhodes vs Kenny Omega has been a beautifully built feud full of twists and turns that should end in a blaze of glory and I can’t wait to see what happens. Cody has been playing monster douche bag so well and Kenny is so clearly torn between his two very wonderful Buck friends and Bullet Club and his complicated relationship with Kota Ibushi – this is a complete drama and exactly what I love about wrestling.
With that being said, ever since it was announced the only answer to this question is the return of Daniel Bryan to the ring.
