Notes From All Elite Wrestling Double or Nothing Ticket Announcement Party

Last night All Elite Wrestling held their ticket announcement party for Double or Nothing in Las Vegas. The following are the key news items that we learned from the event:

-The biggest news that pretty much everyone knew was that Kenny Omega officially signed with AEW. He was also announced as the Executive Vice President of the company. I find that one a bit odd. I mean, does Omega have experience running a company? I digress. But he ended up having a brawl with Chris Jericho. So it looks like they are building up to a Jericho/Omega match at Double or Nothing. Surprised they are going to that well since they just did in New Japan a year ago.

-The Lucha Bros and Best Friends were announced as tag teams that will be in AEW. The Lucha Bros attacked the Young Bucks when they were leaving the stage so my guess is we will get Lucha Bros vs Young Bucks at Double or Nothing.

-Hangman Page and PAC had an exchange. Page is really coming off as a star in all of this and I think he needs to be the focus of AEW going forward.

-Brandi Rhodes announced a handful of women signings: Aja Kong, Yuka Sakazaki, Nyla Rose and Kylie Rae.

-Pre-sale sign-up for tickets for Double or Nothing is now through February 11 on allelitewrestling.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public on February 13.
