WWE RAW News and Notes For 11.6.17

Pete Dunne Appeared On The Show, Defeating Enzo Amore

-Kurt didn’t say Dunne was an official signing to the RAW brand. It seemed like more of a one off appearance. Although the U.K. Division will be appearing on 205 Live tomorrow. Dunne would be a great addition to the RAW brand and would be a great heel on the show. Of course, that doesn’t factor in the likely mis-use of Dunne by Vince McMahon.

WWE Raw Review 10.23.17 – with Heather

Last night at TLC a lot of exciting things happened!

ASUKA debuted – did she keep her streak alive and defeat the wonderful EVIL Emma?

AJ Styles and Finn Balor fought for the first time to a great match.  What’s next for Finn with Bray still out with an illness?  Has AJ gone home to Smackdown?

Kurt Angle had his first match back in a WWE ring in over a decade.  Did he survive?  Will he be here tonight to discuss it?

Under this tag you will find the answers to these question.  Mostly.  This is…

E983F099-7A54-42F2-8F14-560176BD5B5C.jpegTables and Ladders and Chairs- Oh My!

After a week where many WWE superstars have been struck down with a ~ mysterious virus (talk is viral meningitis but as I don’t claim to know anything we will stick with a mystery virus), there was quite a shake up to the planned TLC Card here.

A dream match featuring AJ Styles vs Finn Balor was suddenly thrown together- and in almost impossible bigger news – Kurt Angle returned to the ring to team with the two members of the reunited Shield who had already been reunited prior to this show being planned out.  Oh well.

On top of all that there was the much anticipated debut on the Raw roster of Asuka.  Did she live up to the hype?

Did the show exceed the limited expectations people had before the shake up?  Did it manage to stand up to the heightened ones after?  What oh what happened at TLC?

WWE TLC Predictions w/ The Chairman

Tonight the Raw superstars of Monday night bring to us another pay per view. Tables, Ladders, and Chairs is live tonight from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Originally this event was hyped as the main roster debut for Asuka and the first match of the recently reunited Shield. However with WWE superstars coming down with meningitis, there were some adjustments made to the card. Roman Reigns has been replaced by none other than Hall of Famer and RAW GM Kurt Angle. You read correctly, Kurt Angle is stepping in and wrestling in his first WWE match since 2006. Also Bray Wyatt has been ruled out for the event and is being replaced by Smackdown Live’s AJ Styles. With that being said, here are my predictions for the event.

WWE TLC Preview: 100% Viral Meningitis Free!

WWE TLC is this Sunday. And boy is it crazy. Of course, the bigger story is the lead up to the show with the possibility of viral meningitis spreading in the WWE locker room. This has caused a complete change to the TLC Card. Kurt Angle is replacing Roman Reigns in the main event, which is NUTS. Angle’s first match back is a TLC match and he is going in on 48 hours notice. I would have never called that.

Meanwhile, AJ Styles replaces Bray Wyatt to take on Finn Balor which at this point is a special attraction match. That’s an upgrade over what we were going to get. And I just hope it is also the end of the Sister Abigail shit.

MAJOR Changes To This Sunday’s WWE TLC PPV

And you though this show was going to be a disaster didn’t you?

A viral meningitis outbreak has caused massive changes to this Sunday’s TLC show. The biggest being that Roman Reigns is OUT of the main event match. That puts The Shield reunion on hold for the time being. In his place? Well that is current RAW GM Kurt Angle.

That’s right, Kurt Angle is stepping in a WWE ring for the first time in eleven years on 48 hours notice.

JC’s Top Rope Report: R.I.P. Bray Wyatt

Sometimes you just see the death of a wrestling character right in front of your eyes. For Bray Wyatt that slow death was happening for a very long time. It started at Wrestlemania and it just kept getting worse and worse.

This past Monday on RAW, the Bray Wyatt character was finally taken off life support.

WWE RAW News and Notes For 10.9.17

The Shield Officially Reformed and Will Face The Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro, and BRAUN Strowman in a TLC Match at the TLC PPV

-The show started with Miz handing out a bunch of Mizzies then being interrupted by Roman Reigns. Reigns was later joined by Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. They attacked Miz and SheSaro. Later in the night, the Shield attacked BRAUN on stage and powerbombed him through the announce table. Kurt Angle already made the 3-on-3 match, but Miz found Angle and told him the Shield said they would take on anyone, so he got Kurt to add Strowman to the match.
